Espresso Martini, Two Ways
Classic meets wild. Same structure, different soul.
1. Espresso Martini with Gin
Refined. Botanical. Bright.
The Twist
A refreshing take on the classic. Gin brings citrus, spice, and a clean backbone that elevates the espresso’s natural brightness. It’s crisp and aromatic—less sweet, more sophisticated.
Flavor Profile
Botanical gin opens up with juniper, citrus peel, and herbs, which pair beautifully with rich espresso and deep coffee liqueur. The result is elegant and balanced, with a lighter, brighter finish.
Bar Tip
Use Acronimo gin for best results. Shake hard to build a thick foam, and strain into a chilled martini glass.
Pairing
Best enjoyed with citrusy desserts or something creamy, like panna cotta or lemon tart. A great after-dinner drink when you want something bold but not heavy.
2. Espresso Martini with Sotol Blanco
Bold. Wild. Caffeinated.
The Twist
A desert-born reinvention. Sotol Blanco, distilled from wild Dasylirion, brings an earthy, smoky undertone that transforms the cocktail. Think espresso on a campfire—grounded, mysterious, and unforgettable.
Flavor Profile
Expect rich crema, dark roast coffee, and bittersweet depth. Sotol adds notes of fresh herbs, wild earth, and a subtle smokiness that lingers beautifully with every sip.
Bar Tip
Go for fresh espresso and fine-strain for clarity. Sotol has texture and attitude—let it shine by keeping your syrup minimal and coffee liqueur balanced.
Pairing
Perfect with dark chocolate, chili-spiced truffles, or even smoky mezcal desserts. Ideal for late nights and long stories.
